This migration by the
Wesson family of hoop benders to the City of London via Wandsworth
makes one wonder if William Gander came from Surrey too for
as already mentioned, there is record of a likely William
Gander from Cranleigh, south of Dorking. Certainly William
Gander and the WESSONs covered the same ground from Wandsworth
onwards.
