All Hallows Church Tower c.1876

All Hallows the Great (c.1876) - shortly before demolition. Compare this photograph with Shepherd's print of 1829 and the impact of the Cannon Street terminus and viaduct is obvious. Bush Lane can be seen on the right bordering the railway arch and Little Bush Lane can be seen between the bollards on the right. The Hour Glass Tap House seems to have changed little over the 46 years however.
