I, James GANDER of Uphaliford in the parish of Sunbery in Mdx, Taylor, being somewhat ill in body but of sound and perfect memory blessed by Almighty God for the same have thought fitt and doe hereby make my last Will and Testament as followeth viz I give and bequeath to my sonne Samuel five shillings. Item I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary ?PARTER (?PARKER) one third part of all my goods and chattells that shall remain after my funeral expenses and debts being first paid and discharged or the true value in money of the said one third part of my said goods and chattels. All the rest and remainder of my household goods moneys cattle goods and chattels of what nature soever the same be I give to my daughter Dinah whom I doe hereby make constitute and appoint full and sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament. And I do also give and bequeath to my said daughter Dinah and her heirs forever all my cottage or tenement situate in Uphaliford aforesaid late in occupation of Nathaniel CLEMENTS Shoemaker with all and singular ?barbsides and appurtenances whatsoever. In Witness whereof I have hereto sett my hand and seal this first and twentieth day of February One Thousand six hundred fourscore and eight.
