This is the last Will and Testament of me George GANDER of the Parish of Boldre in the County of Southampton, Husbandman. First I Give to my good Friend and Fellow Servant Sarah DAVIES, Spinster, the Sum of one hundred pounds of good and lawfull money of great Britain to be paid unto her within Six months after my Deceasse by my Executor hereinafter named. And I give unto my Brother Thomas GANDER the Sum of one hundred pounds to be paid to him by my Executor within Six Months after my Deceasse. And I do appoynt my Master John MITFORD Esqr. Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament And I do publish and Declare this to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand this twenty fifth day of March one thousand and Seven hundred and fifty eight.

Signed Published and Declared by the said Testator to be his last Will and Testament in the presense of Hannah HORWOOD, Richard BIRT. The Mark of George GANDER (except that there WAS no Mark!).

[I have a further copy of this Will (extracted from the Court Register) with the date of 4th Apr 1758].

A further entry (in the Register?): 2 Apr 1761. On which day Administration of All and Singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of George GANDER late of the Parish of Boldre in the County of Southampton and Diocese of Winchester Husbandman deceased (with his last Will and Testament annext) unadministered by John MITFORD Esquire the Sole Executer of and Named in the said Will now also deceased was granted and committed to Philadelphia MITFORD Widow Relict and Administratix with the Will annext of the said John MITFORD deceased. And the said Philadelphia MITFORD was duly sworn Administratrix etc before Me J.SHIPLEY Dean of Winchester.
